Human Resources Generalist

Responsible for managing our company’s greatest asset – our associates – by providing expertise and a high level of service in the areas of: recruiting, on-boarding, associate engagement, benefits administration, daily administration of human resource policies and procedures, and recordkeeping.

• Manage recruitment process for non-exempt positions; this includes sourcing, screening, offers and onboarding candidates
• Coordinate with outside staffing agencies to fill and manage temporary assignments
• Represent Res in the community and foster positive community relations
 Participate in relevant job fairs and campus recruitment activities
 Foster relationships with area schools/colleges to assist with promoting manufacturing careers
HR Administration
• Assist in the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures
• Participate in the development and establishment of department goals, objectives, and systems that directly impact HR strategy and overall business plans
• Manage the FMLA process
• Coordinate and conduct exit interviews
• Maintain internal associate files
• Coordinate/communicate company events

Associate Relations
• Provide a high level of customer service to associates
• Maintain a highly visible, respected presence in the organization

• Facilitate benefits administration including new hire onboarding and ongoing customer service
• Coordinate annual benefit enrollment

• Maintain non-exempt associate records with the third party payroll provider
• Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll

• Serve as a member of the safety committee, participate in safety meetings
• Facilitate day-to-day Worker’s Compensation processes

• Maintaining an atmosphere conducive to making Res Manufacturing an employer of choice
• Protecting company and associate interests with governmental law and regulations changes

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• One year related work experience (minimum)
• Thorough understanding of Human Resources and employment laws and regulations
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated skills in associate relations w/ good analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and use sound judgment in decision making
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve objectives
• Strong detail orientation
• Strong customer service ethic and orientation

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a manufacturing setting
• PHR certification
